The new leather key purse (or for other small items) is now available in a beautiful chestnut leather. This leather is also vegetable tanned and no harmful chemicals have been used in the tanning process. Leather is well known for using harmful chromium in the tanning process and we try to avoid this by working with reputable tanneries in the Netherlands. Our tannery is also silver rather by the leather working group. This governing body audits tanneries to ensure environmental guidelines can be evidenced and guaranteed so you can be confident in the materials that you are buying.
